After many years of offering beauty services, I have made the decision to no longer accept new clients for Brows, Lashes, Cosmetic Tattooing or Makeup appointments.

My existing clients will continue to be looked after, however appointments for these services are now limited.

Brows & Lashes

Lash Extensions

Classic lashes are a great introduction into the wonderful world of lash Extentions. I suggest the classic look for those clients who have never had lashes or want to give the illusion of the no lash, lash Extentions look.

A volume fan consists of 2-8 (or more based on your artist’s preference and your natural lash’s capacity) teenie-tiny eyelash extensions.
If you see 2D, 3D, 4D, 6D, 8D, etc… the number stands for how many lash extensions are in the fan, and the D stands for how dimensional the volume fan is! Generally the diameter (how thick) the individual lash extensions are can range from 0.03 - 0.07 mm. This is waaaay thinner than one of your own natural lashes!

Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination is like a lift for your brows! this results in an instantly fuller, fluffier looking brow. Brow hairs can be quite unruly and can often drop down and even side ways. The Brow Lamination gives the effect of thicker and styled brows instantly. This is perfect even for those who believe that they have hardly any brow hairs. The results are incredible.
The treatment is painless and will take your brows to a whole new level of fabulous!

Waxing

Brow and facial waxing involves the removal of unwanted hair from the eyebrow and facial areas using a warm wax. This process helps define and shape the eyebrows, as well as remove excess hair from the upper lip, chin, and other facial regions. The wax adheres to the hair, allowing for efficient removal, leaving the skin smooth. It's a quick and effective method to achieve a polished and groomed appearance.

Vitamin Boost Lash Lift

Vitamin Boost Lash lift is an enhancement technique used to boost & lift your natural lashes. It is packed with Vitamins A,B,C,E,F & K which help the growth of lashes and to restore the lashes if they have been damaged or are brittle. OR if you would like the extension look without the upkeep!

What services does Tiana Kara Studio offer?

We offer a wide range of services including haircuts, hair coloring, manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, and makeup application.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm, and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. We are closed on Sundays.

Do I need to make an appointment?

It is highly recommended that you make an appointment to ensure availability. However, we do accept walk-ins if there is availability.

How should I care for my eyelash extensions?

Cleanse daily with a foaming, oil-free lash cleanser.
Use a clean mascara brush to gently comb through dry lashes.
Attend refills every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness

What should I avoid after getting eyelash extensions?

Do not get lashes wet for the first 24 hours.
Avoid heat exposure (ovens, hairdryers, etc.).
Do not pick, pull, or rub your lash extensions.
No mascara, eye makeup, or oil-based products near the lashes.
Avoid sleeping face-down for the first 24 hours.

Is it normal to lose some lashes?

Yes, you may lose 3-5 natural lashes per day due to the natural lash cycle.
Extra loss can occur due to poor aftercare, excessive rubbing, or sleeping on your face.

What should I do before my lash appointment?

Arrive with no eye makeup and clean lashes to ensure optimal application.
Remove contact lenses before your appointment.
Avoid caffeinated drinks before your appointment to prevent eye twitching.
Discontinue using fish oil, coconut oil, and certain lash serums, as they may affect retention.

Can I book lashes for a big event?

If you have never had lash extensions before, avoid booking right before an event in case of an allergic reaction.
If you've had a lash lift within the last 8 weeks, wait until the lift naturally drops or get a reversal first.

What if I am late to my appointment?

Arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for preparation.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled as lash applications require time and precision.

Do you work over other artists’ lash work?

No. If you have existing lash extensions from another artist, you will need a removal before booking a full set.
